2nd Year TMT IB Analyst here at a small, no-name boutique looking to break into GE / PE in NY. Been networking and applying to jobs. Have gotten into a number of interview processes but wondering if I should try to get into a smaller buyside shop then lateral before B school or after B school - any thoughts? Also, would love to hear how I can best differentiate myself?

Got a 730 on GMAT 3 years ago (applying to top 10 MBAs next year). Should I retake if I'm confident it will be 750 or higher? Engineering undergrad GPA was 3.3 so I'm worried about offsetting that.
