Any advice from someone who’s quit consulting without a job (or school) lined up? I’m kinda miserable at my job and know I want to leave soon, but working non-stop makes it difficult to truly assess my next step. I want a little space, especially because I have no interest in going to another consulting firm or FAANG, but I don’t want to sacrifice job or school prospects for a gap.
Context: recently promoted, high-performing SC at 2 year mark; I know Deloitte offers LOA, but can I swing that?

I’m a designer in the planning/landscape architecture dept. of a CE firm. Extremely frustrated that after 4+ years and multiple asks, I’m not getting the in-field construction experience I’ve asked for. Mental Health, inherited or choice? I am finding myself struggling with processing that ADD, Depression, or Bipolar is a chemical imbalance in the brain vs. behavioral therapy. The best analogy given to me is you would treat diabetics with insulin so why not consider prescriptions to help mental health. 2020 has thrown more at me than I’m able to handle. Has anyone here noticed a significant improvement after a prescription to help psych issues?
