aCtuAlLY… if you’re still actively saving and investing, it’d be better for the price to stagnate or even decrease until you’re done deploying all your future cash.

I’m very fun at parties thank you very much.

In the same boat. I feel like it’s been such slow going to close the gap 😫 Hope we both cross that threshold soon!

~$975k I’ve been soo close for months but I’m wedding planning so money is going out faster than its coming in 😫

I made a similar post at the end of 2021 - even if markets were flat I'd hit my NW goal in 2022 through contributions alone. Someone said "don't set goals for things you have no control over."

I did hit it but not until 2023.

Sounds like something I would say.
Market can easily be up or down in any given year. It’s a long game.
Much better to set goals for saving.

What would you silly spend on right now?

Hi there - have you considered an annuity and/ indexed universal life policy? Market growth linked to the index (not in the market) with 0% floor. I'm a licensed agent and can help. Happy New Year!

Eww, no.

How do I keep my team engaged when I am also struggling to stay motivated?

Our department has had a lot of turnover within the last few months, all of which were from different reasons (school, family issues, opportunities close to home, etc.). It has been a challenge to divide the workload, while still trying to remain flexible and provide a work-life balance.

However, I’m starting to feel stressed and disengaged. Any suggestions to make it through the changes?

I feel like the inability to access funds when my family needs it has been the reason I haven’t invested outside of 401k and have this cash reserve
