Hi Fishes,
Can anyone please give a genuine insight into the frontend developer interview process for experienced candidates in Apple?
Do everyone irrespective of their experience needs to prepare for DSA? Or they just want the frontend developer to be proficient in HTML, CSS and JS just like they mention in JD. And also do they consider people from Tier 3 colleges?

If there’s a great implementation, chances are you’ll never hear anything about it/they won’t talk about it after they sign the check. If it’s a an implementation with even the slightest inefficiency, they’ll beat it over your head incessantly. Truly kings of the underground
80% of modernization and implementation projects fail
Yeah and failure typically means off schedule, out of scope, off budget rather than total failure
Might get roasted here, but the best consultants don’t do tech implementations. Tech implementations are populated by wash outs and castaways in my experience, both on the client side and consultant side. Knowing that, it’s no wonder why many large tech implementations fail
Frankly, in pure "consulting" you present a cake..
A perfect cake, seen from a picture..
But when someone has to implement your cake, it shows how it smells following your guidelines..
If all you're good at is ppt, you should steer clear of any high level architecture//which level implementation design .. it will look nice, but most of times if anyone follow your advice it's... An embarrassment to say the least..
Sure, in implementation there's a lot of grunt work, but that's true in consulting as well. Difference is, a trash consultant will weasel out of the situation with smooth talking, at the end of the day if you're doing implementation, you'll be recognized for your money worth quick quickly (for better or for worse)..
It’s difficult to tell what do you consider a failure?
Also , it’s always easy to blame other’s implementation.
We have to consider the circumstances of the implementation. So many times everyone is looking to cut cost, technology evolves, consultants not getting enough help from people present at client’s team , more importantly people need to trash earlier implementations to create work and get new budget.
I’ve seen both sides and I’d make the honest argument it’s as much the consultants fault as the client. If you’re a cheap company with little desire to follow through and actually provide feedback you can’t complain when you’re handed garbage. Same on the consulting side don’t sell the moon to a client for 20 dollars and a ham sandwich their just gonna be pissed when you sell them snake oil with a smile
People selling a plan to people that don't know their own requirements well enough to do it themselves. And no one in this process is responsible for actually building it. What could go wrong?
Truth
You get what you pay for sometimes.
In an RFC, cost is only a factor normally. About a 99% factor despite what customers say hence it’s a race to the bottom sadly.
Time for a good bit of a price fixing cartel in consultancy if you ask me. Who’s game? ;)
Our digital / cloud transformation actually went pretty smooth where I am. The Agile Transformation though... lol.
It’s the result of great marketing, unfamiliarity in truly understanding their internal business processes and needs, and non tech savvy clients understanding how easy some task are or how easy it is to learn these no code to low code systems.
For marketing I always here from the client side “yea the vendor sold us X Y Z. But it really does A B C.” Or it does “X but we didn’t know we have to pay extra for Y and Z.”
Also many times their internal business processes do not align with the system or there was not much foresight in how this new tool would impact other areas of their business leading them to pouring more money into customizing the tool.
SaaS is evolving so fast that is allows for non truly tech savvy workers to easily manage and operate the system without a deep understanding of the back end of the system or coding. But the client does not know that and thinks making a change in the system involves extensive coding and testing but really the admin just goes to settings and clicks option 1 🤫
Because all companies want to best developments for the cheapest cost
