Hi, I recently came across Scaler's MS program, which offers masters degree in collaboration with Woolf University (European University). And, I am looking move to Canada in near future. Will the master degree offered through this course will be accepted by the education evaluation institute WES? If yes, is it considered as equivalent to Canadian Masters degree? Hi,
I'm currently having an offer from BlueOptima and Cohesity and am conflicted between the two.
I have offers in the SDET profile.
Cohesity Inc is providing me MTS and @BlueOptima is providing SDET-1.
Glassdoor reviews more of less place the two companies almost equally, and the package being offered by the two is almost in the same range.
My preferences include:
Learning opportunities in the role.
Company's work environment.
Company's growth prospects, are also a consideration.

Yo how are these teaches? Aren’t these schools filled with people at/below your stats? I think GMAT’s fine tbh
There is a ton of competition, especially for some someone from big 4 consulting. You will really have to stand out with your story, goals, and ECs.
Probably the latter? Can’t hurt to do both honestly, but even people with 750+ don’t get into those schools
Are you applying Round 1? If so, I would say focus on application material; depending how much effort you have put into the 730, the effort required to increase 20 points may not be worth it.
If Round 2, I say go retake since you can pace yourself with your work, essays, and study.
Yes, round 1. And agree with those points for sure, thanks.
Since you’re an ORM Id consider retaking to get 750+ but I think bigger priority is to make sure the rest of your app/ECs are up to par first
Now may be an easier to get admitted to a top mba tbh esp with the immigration situation deterring international students and covid making classes virtual. Possible that Mba may not be as attractive to applicants compared to before.
If you are dead set on Wharton or Booth, I would re-take the GMAT and shoot for a 750. Your profile (on the surface) looks very competitive for Kellogg and Haas, which arent as strict on the GMAT (relatively speaking) and view applicants more holistically. Definitely dont think those are reaches for you, but those schools place a significant emphasis on EC’s / stories, so may need to spend time building those out... but you’re def in the ballpark
Thank you. I’ve heard Wharton prefers higher GMAT scores for rank purposes too, but good to know how the other schools compare.
Def agree with the story component. Networking in general with admissions and previous students will be helpful as well to put your name infront of the admissions. I know folks who were admitted to booth with average to low scores but then again that is for the part time program. Idk if those are easier to get in?
Part time MBAs are significantly easier to get in to.
