Pizza Hut is a Samsung-level shit client

Pizza Hut always blames their agencies for poor sales rather than addressing the REAL problem which is a crappy product.
It’s why they’ve changed agencies close to 10 times in the last 15 years instead of investing in a better product
Honestly I don’t even think it’s the product. At least not the staples. It’s how the whole business is run from the top down to the franchisees.

Soon we'll see a "GSD&M to have layoffs after parting ways with Pizza Hut" article.
Damn. Do you think another round of layoffs is on the horizon given the recent losses? Or do you think things will stabilize for a while, considering the new business wins and other activity around the building?
Best of luck to the next agency that takes over this account. I can say this goodbye comes without hesitation—this has been one of the most frustrating and challenging experiences, not in a good or constructive way, but in a way no agency should ever have to endure.

Hear you and hope you go into the weekend with your head held high . There’s no creative potential in fast pizza. It’s a race to the bottom with only a football media buy as your consolation.
Offers and deals and banner ads — know them and love them. That will never change.
I had Pizza Hut about 12 years ago and they somehow managed to get the cheese, crust and meat to be the same consistency.

Why is Pizza Hut cutting ties? Isn’t it supposed to be pizza? Seems to be a client-side issue.

Terrible client. Horrible Agency.
GSD&M 1 you don’t need to have worked there to know it’s a terrible place. Y’all’s culture is reflected on every job when other agencies have to work with y’all.

Pizza hut just needs to bring the huts back, with the red transparent cups and salad bar. It turned into Pizza Strip Mall.
