I got selected in optum after clearing technical and managerial round and then hr sent me pre hire required documents i submitted that 8 days ago now today HR finally picked my call and told me that your position for the req job is on hold from onshore team.

They are not replying to her. So what can I expect

Switching from commission to salary!

I’m considering a less sales-oriented role that doesn’t pay commission. The new role will have a higher base but lower overall earning potential.

What % haircut should be expected? As an example, if I make 100k (base + commission) today, would it be realistic to ask for 90k (10% cut) + equity to make up the difference?

What is the perception of a McKinsey solution role that is a CSP? Can I exit to tech? Would the role be better than the T2 role I have now?

Should I refer my SO to Google?
(Does she have a real shot?)

She's a Project Manager at a global auto parts manufacturer.
Her role is 30% technical, 70% business (meaning she has good problem solving and stakeholder mgmt skills).
5 YOE+Degree at a top engineering school in Europe
My experience at Google made her interested in joining the company, but we never really acted on it.
Could she be a good fit?
If so which areas/orgs?
