I had final techno manager round which was completed on 30 Mar, and after ugadi holiday, on 6th I have received the positive feedback and confirmation mail and asked to share the payslips and relevant documents. Still waiting for the offer letter. Called HR on 20th April for the updates, she told she is working on my offer and it will release soon. Any ideas on this fishes?Cerner Corporation

What?! How!?
Above my pay grade. Mainly shared bc it’s info anyone would learn from public job postings. Seems leadership somehow made the case? Whether it was financial, cultural or both, no clue.
Other ipg agencies will be thrilled about this..
Not surprised. Watch RTO strictness start to slowly wither away next.
I mean I should say I’m surprised it happened this quickly but even Frodo was able to maneuver around the eye of Sauron
Please share the deets!
Did they actually ever lose it? OMC has always had policies but there has been some flex to them.
I wonder if this could happen at other agencies or if leadership is too scared to stick their necks out … would be a game changer for me if they reinstated

I think this only happened bc Deutsch is now pretty much only based out of California. California has state laws that companies must pay out unused accrued PTO. Omnicom overlords get around this by having unlimited time off which they don’t have to pay out when you leave. Doubt it will happen elsewhere except for CA and NE (as already announced)
Deutsch is only in LA
