Chick-fil-A Corporate A local store to our community now has a new owner operator. He recently fired several staff that had been hired under corporate during the transition. The employees were fired as part of retaliation for trying to help the new owner understand federal wage laws and hourly employees. What does corporate do to make sure owner operators understand federal laws. This owner has no prior experience with restaurants and is losing money and apparently thinks it's okay to skew labor numbers.

That sounds like a bad situation. But if the new owner of the store doesn't seem to know what they're doing, and they're losing money, skewing numbers won't sustain. As I think we know, reality eventually arrives. And a hard lesson will likely be learned.

This kind of seems like something corporate should have vetted before putting them in there. If they are firing people over trying to help them understand, it sounds like corporate has the work cut out for them big time. Owner is in for a rude awakening, restaurants are a huge gamble even when things are going perfectly.

Got a call for Jamaica location, QA role.
It’s through some Indian consultancy. They would pay in INR (2.5 lakh per month) .
Is that good to go and survive in Jamaica. Accommodation would be from consultancy.
