This is why it’s already impossible to recruit from big 4 compared to 5-7 years ago. Junior folks only know how to send to India and let the Directors fix it all.
“Bypass you and hire AC India”
How TF are you gonna do that? Also you can’t finance on an internal diligence report so someone here doesn’t even know what we do
I’d like to see someone from India lead a 4-6 hours diligence call with management. Also for deals involving gov contracts, good luck adding offshore resources to the working group list.

Bro, we are often D & India @BDO 😈
Yea it seems like we hire 2-3 offshore resources for every US senior
We tried to set up some smaller recurring add ons with India before. Although our India resources were capable, the client and target was turned off and wanted to interact with the US folks. Keep it US facing helps justify the fees too.
I'm at MM firm and I'm seeing the same thing. India resources do most of the heavy lifting. Sure, most of what they do is the boring stuff like setting up databases and schedules, but as a new hire I was expecting that I'd get some reps under my belt.
Are you seeing that at PWC or other firms
