Offering advice to job seekers who go around recruiters and message hiring teams, execs, etc. You are putting the Recruiters job in danger. If a Recruiter declines you or doesn’t choose to reach out, it is because the hiring team declined you, or you don’t have the experience. You will most likely not be considered for future roles because of this. When I see people giving advice to reach outside the Recruiter, it’s bad advice. Very rare is this a good idea.

I just asked a creative to include more pictures of Afro-Latinos in our hispanic messaging and she said "I tried to find pictures of videos that looked authentic but they didn't have the right look, it's a very specific look".
