Hi I've joined Harman in May but hasn't been assigned to any project yet. I've asked hr and reporting manager they said they're working on it and there's nothing to be worried about However I just want to know if there's anything I should be concerned about what's the bench policy? Yes, and it’s called a meditation room. If a patient dies or you just got screamed at, it would be nice to have somewhere to go. You’re providing emotional safety and it’s good for overall morale.
That's funny. Cry Rooms are certainly beneficial in theaters and churches, where a parent can take a crying child so they don't disturb everyone else while they can still listen/view the show or sermon. We don't have babies in this department, but I think most of us could certainly use a good cry every now and then.
Some or the nurses at my previous location took one of the old storage closets and tranformed it into a "quiet room" which did serve as a crying room a few times. There was a place to sit and the understood rule was no chit chat or coversation, no phone calls etc, it was just a place to clear your thoughts and be alone in the quiet for a while. Also there was a really nice air freshener in there which I have never managed to find again lmao
Is it sad that I realy wish we did have one of these? I think the only thing sadder than that is the fact that I think the room would always be occupied and I woudl probably never get to actually use it.
