It is an honor to receive such a compliment, you did something right. Enjoy

For us veterans it is an honor that you are the ones who stand up for the best country in the world these days, thank you infinitely.

As veteran soldiers, we know everything they suffer and risk every time they go to the battlefield, just because they are military they have a complicated life, and the least we veterans can do is thank them for so much sacrifice.

For me, veterans have always been heroes, the battlefields now are not as difficult as before and yet they never hesitated to go fight for our country, honor to whom honor is due, great war veterans, and always thanks for your service.

It must have been a spectacular moment, I admire veterans, and receiving a compliment from one of them must be something without equal, it's great that they recognized you as an equal.

For a long time, I have felt that we are indebted to the veterans, but I have seen many of them express their gratitude to us for our work, every time they do I feel renewed as a Marine Corps infantry, I can only say THANK YOU.

The Vietnam veterans, I dare to say, are the most experienced veterans in our country, it was a war that we basically lost but they kept fighting and that has no equal, more is learned from defeat than from victory, and one of them I congratulate me for my service or thank me it would be crazy for me it would be the peak of my career

I’ve been thanked by a WWII, Korean War, Vietnam War and a first Gulf War Veteran for my service, but if I can tell or they say they’re a Veteran, I ALWAYS IMMEDIATELY turn it back to them and thanked them for THEIR service! I tell them for them NOT contributing to their service, I could’ve NEVER served mine. 🇺🇸⚓️

Say thank you with appreciation!

My advice: Concentrate on yourself above anything else, follow orders but also know how those orders affect you, serve your country but never forget you are serving yourself first. The objective is not to die honorably but to survive dutifully. What else would you add?
