Got an offer to join Deloitte as a CBO - Project Delivery Specialist– Scrum Master.
The offer is 115k+5k bonus with a 9% AIP. (I have 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master. I haven’t finished my bachelors yet.) Previously the role was CBO - Project Delivery Senior Analyst – Scrum Master after back and forth with the hiring manager with a salary of 102k + 6k signing bonus and a 6% AIP. Thoughts?

Is it a good idea to join Paypal for Software Engineer III from Walmart Software Engineer III, for the base salary of 35LPA and 9L RSUs per year for Chennai location ? I am currently withdrawing 24LPA as base and 4.2 as Variable and 3.5L RSUs vested for 4 years.
I have been told that I'll be part of Risk team under Paypal Transactions domain. Any Idea how is the work culture and tech stack here in this team?
Is EY GDS providing any joining bonus ?

How about get some info from someone who may know. There is no “slow” down in promos. It’s what any business can afford. If you are an S3 and performing real well at the M level you will be promoted now or mid year. If you aren’t and won’t be; then maybe a change is needed.
If the money is a real difference in life (post tax) that is a whole different story.

If you are looking to promote fast- probably. People Consulting had to slow down promos especially to manager. They had way too many people go from staff to senior to manager in a total of 3 years between the first two roles. Now they are course correcting.
This is 100% false. The number of people that went from new hire staff to M in 3 years can probably be counted on one hand and they were legitimate superstars that did not struggle with that speed.

Run the numbers and try to make an apples to apples comparison. I feel like Grant Thorton's reputation is good - would you essentially do the same work for 20k more? That's kind of telling.
The problem here is not understanding your path to manager and timing. It’s true that there are plenty more ready promo candidates than slots. That’s typical. But at S3, if you’re not clear on your path and timing, have that conv with your counselor and circle leader.
