Good Evening
Hope you all are doing well.
I am just done with the HR and Salary discussion for the Data Engineering role with Telstra .
Which location is good to join Bengaluru, Hyderabad or Pune when it comes to Data Engineering roles and opportunities in Telstra ?
Any one currently working or worked in Telstra looking forward to your valuable inputs and suggestions.

All the extra stuff is cool but I feel a bit stifled (I would at any big firm) so am looking for smaller consultancies.
The culture is pretty collaborative. When you know that nobody is getting promoted it is easier to all work together.
Fave: benefits
Least: everything else

Culture
Great place to be if you like collaboration vs cut throat and competitive. Benefits are awesome. But I feel like a cog in a machine. So many people - itâs hard to stand out.
The culture is collaborative and not as cut throat or competitive as it is in other firms.
The staffing model is terrible-especially if you are early in your career and donât have an extremely strong network yet.
I think this ranges heavily level to level, what is your offer for?
Pivot to the new and run....
I think a lot more freedom that Iâve heard elsewhere. Once you get your sea legs (network, personal brand) you can work on whatever you want rather than just being assigned like a cog
Congrats on your offer! We have a <1% conversion rate from experienced hires applying to receiving an offer. You should be proud.
Fav: the people and company investment in people. Tons of training, community events, and workshops, all the MDs (up to CL1!) make time for me, and loads of mentorship opportunities.
Worst: we're a huge company with normal ratios of assholes and higher percentage of douchebags. By total numbers, we thereby have tons of assholes and douchebags. Thankfully, our size also means that you don't have to work with them if you don't want to.
Perspective: CL9 c&m
