If you have any tax law background and any interest in consulting you could consider tax consulting. The work is mainly research and interpreting statutes and case law. Probably not unlike what you did while at your law firm and when you clerked. People with JDs are in high demand in this field and command the upper end of the pay scale. I know people at my firm in this capacity and they seem to like it a lot. If you’d consider CohnReznick DM me and I’d be happy to refer you
Other thoughts might be to try to join the legal counsel of a large publicly traded organization. I’m sure the work is different than what you’re used to but your experience would probably vary by firm and in what capacity they need you for
You’re welcome! That’s pretty cool. I’m sure there’s definitely a need for you somewhere at a large publicly traded insurance company then. These places all have big in house legal departments. Might be worth a look
If you can dream it, you can do it! Listen to this for some inspo!🤗
