advice about potentially shady employment practices?
i have no prior dental experience + wanted to start a career in dental, so i applied to an office as a dental assistant. their wages for this start at $15.
they told me they'd like to start me as a "lab assistant" at $13/hr due to my experience. i accepted.
when i began work there, i was trained as a dental assistant and in 5 days i was assisting Dr for complex procedures. now, after 5 weeks, i'm "hygiene assistant". is this normal?

When does variable reflect in lti as hikes have come will we get the revised variable amount and what would be the percentage?

I accepted a FADP offer but I have lifelong crippling anxiety It leads to (TMI) diarrhea, I can’t sleep at night, among a lot of other issues. I see a therapist and have their support in school accom. I appear high functioning and ever since uni went remote my life and performance has only improved. Hello everyone I have 29 years as a dental professional in Texas. I started as a dental assistant back in 1993. As my career progressed as a RDA, I moved to the front office and eventually management. I even taught dental assistants and became the Program Director of a DA program. COVID opened up remote work for me, I manage eclaims, claims corrections and billing for two offices. $20 per hour, no bonuses or incentives, I know I am not getting paid enough! Any input would be appreciated.

I have been working in Austin/cedar park/ round rock as a dental assistant for two years. I’ve just been promoted to office manager at a small private practice. What would be an appropriate hourly wage? Currently no benefits are offered, but may be in the future.

I've been a dental assistant for 11 years , and I think I'm done . I feel the pay is never enough and 9/10 we do the most work in the office . It's never commensurate to what we do and no matter how much experience you have your still 3-5$ more than someone fresh out of school . It's a skill I'm glad to know that I can always find work but the burnout for nothing isn't worth it. Can anyone relate
