Become really good at researching in the authoritative literature. If you can search well, you'll def do well on the TBS

@D3.. yes, the MCQ's with Wiley were spot on. I did well in this area but just struggled with the SIMS.
Give yourself enough time for the simulations. I passed audit with scoring worse on all MCQs, but scoring above in the simulation.
A low 70...you're just a few points away then. Just master the Becker sims and you'll be fine.
You get the breakdown of strengths/ weaknesses only when you don't pass. Pass, and they just give you the score.
Thank you all. @PWC 1, anything specific with Ninja? I currently use Wiley Excel.
Hey! I used Wiley and supplemented with ninja (stuck with Wiley cpa excel for sims). I had the same problem as you. Basically for the second time around I would watch all the videos in a row and take notes , then do multiple choice until you feel sick, then rewrite notes, and make note cards for items that aren't sticking then more multiple choice and sims ... Worked every time !
Ninja multiple choice and it is less that 100 is I recall
I scored a 68 my first attempt, all I did was 3 more weeks of mcq and was able to pull off a 78. I always felt the sims were a waste of time and mcq was the best bet if you study the explanations
Don't forget to do what worked for you in college to get through tests...
CPA Excel FTW! The MCQs were enough for me. You just have to learn the backwards and forwards.
Practice mcqs, but remember sims are 40%. Which should be your absolute focus.
The MCQs cover the content that you might see on the sims
@D1 how do you get a breakout of your score?
@D1, yea. how'd you get a score break down?
^i disliked that. Guess they figure most ppl don't care if they pass but I'm anal and would love to know where my weaknesses are lol
I'm in CA. Our website gives us the breakdown on how we did on each section if we pass or fail.
CPA Excel user here as well. Did you feel the MCQs were solid prep for the exam?
There are 7 sims on the aud section or something like that, right?
