Advice needed: I'm desperate for a 2nd job because I've got major home repairs to do and 1 part time serving job isn't gonna let me do it. Overnight positions (not serving) pay well and I'm hoping to get into that around here, but it's been a decade since I've had to juggle an overnight job with a regular part time.

I was wondering if anybody else is in the same boat with multiple jobs with very different shifts. How do/did you manage your sleep, exercise, proper diet while doing them?

I think just about everyone has at least 1 side hustle. Working more than one in person job is a grind. I would strongly recommend things like DoorDash, Uber, Lyft, and Spark delivery. That way you can at least make the hours work around everything else you do.

Unfortunately I need to avoid driving jobs. My car has 150K miles and I live out-county, so it would be LONG drives for me and too much wear and tear on a car I love (but is showing it's age by needing more maintenance to stay on the road).

If I did work an overnight job I would make sure it was part time that way I would only have to struggle through a few days of split shifts.

That's pretty much all that's available around me, anyway. I just know I need as many hours as I can possibly get and I'm worried about falling down the rabbit hole of not taking care of myself again. Finally getting back into fitness... and honestly, if I had more money to stretch, I'd just take the time to study to become a personal trainer. Other than serving and stocking, it's about the only thing that puts a smile on my face.

Have an offer from a dream company but I'll need to go in at a lower level. Knowing that I can bring a lot of value to the company (read- I know my worth), I negotiated with the hiring manager to have a level/comp review 6 months after employment. If I hit all my goals (ie, prove myself) within that time frame, I'll get a promotion and salary adjustment.
QUESTIONS:
Should this be in writing in the offer letter?
How detailed should it be? I assume I won't know what goals to set till I start...

How do real estate lenders take cash flow into consideration? Hi, I'm an employee at a hotel chain who works remotely. I've been working remotely for over a year now and I love it! The company I work for is very supportive of remote workers, which is great.

But there's one thing that's been bothering me: it's hard to get feedback on my work when I'm not in the office. It would be great if there was some kind of system that let me know how my performance was being evaluated while I'm working on projects from home.
