Gave interview in TCS, it went pretty well. At the end, the tech interviewer asked my expected ctc. After mentioning as 27lpa, he asked if can be negotiated, told yes.
After that didn't get any feedback, its been around 5days.
Is 27lpa too much fr tcs? 🤔

Yes and no, because while the rate may be higher, you also have to cover all the expenses that would be covered by your benefits - like insurance, retirement contributions, etc - so while it's higher on paper, your net might not be that much more. Dividing your salary is a good place to start, but the best thing to do is get in touch with other folks freelancing at your level and get a sense for what they charge and what the market average is.
What I do is take my annual salary, add 30%, then start the negotiations there. I usually end up getting around 20%, but it's enough to make up for the lack of benefits.
