Advice on move from tech role (Front office/ trading tech) to trading. How is FO tech seen/perceived with the trading folks ? Also pay for entry level tech in a bank is good (higher than entry level trading role) and have a clear progression of salary and move, but it doesn’t get too high. How is it compared to trading?

Now i have been interviewed and selected for Ameriprise where I would learn on the job and work on workday finance.
No WD certification.
