After 4 years of saving money, paying off student loans, reading books and listening to podcast I am finally ready to buy my first house hack and have been approved for up to $750,00. However, I am a little dishearten as everything is SOO expensive, especially for me living in San Diego, CA. Should I wait for the market to cool down? Should I move somewhere with less expensive housing? Willing to to whatever it takes to eventually become financially free.

Yes, it’s definitely a sellers market right now. I would wait.

Hi fishes,
I'm 22 and planning to take a life insurance. I'm comparing all policies and max life seems attractive as it has good claim settlement ratio and less premiums. But there is no office near our area. My worry is that if there is a need to claim in future, it can be done all online by my nominee? Is it recommended to take policy online in any platform(like policybazaar)?
Other options I'm considering are SBI life, HDFC life which offices are available in my locality.
Please guide

Curious about thoughts on on discount points (I think I’ve already read every article on Google). I am refinancing my personal residence (future rental) as well as a rental property. The mortgage brokers discourage me from spending a ton on points (rolled in, not up front). In some cases, it’s a 16 year break even. I get that’s a very long time to break even, but I have no intention of getting rid of the properties and doubt rates will drop much below current. Max breakeven point for you?

I am concerned that making this purchase may make me a little cash poor in the short term, but still manageable. Would it make more sense to rent out the property through a rental company that included insurance and cleaning or to put it on airbnb?

Getting ready for a new life adventure in some other city or country. Have a great house in an extremely desirable city. We should probably rent it, gain a little monthly cash, and let the asset grow even more.
