After applying to numerous federal positions and not hearing back, I’m starting to wonder if there’s a trick to the USAJobs application system. I’ve submitted over 20 applications in the last six months—some I was really qualified for—and still nothing beyond the initial “received” status. It’s starting to feel like I’m doing something wrong, or that my resume isn’t making it past whatever filters they use. Does anyone have tips, strategies, or insider advice for getting noticed on USAJobs? I'm open to any help at this point.

I'm currently working as an electrical designer in the MEP industry. I really don't like it and I'm working towards a career change which I'm actively applying for and getting certified etc. However, it's been a slow process and I'm currently underpaid where I am so would it be wise to make a lateral move to another MEP firm simply because they offer me more money while I still look for a different job separate from this field? Or just tough it out?

Should I wait or move on for infosys (gave interview on 1 Nov 2022 and selected) company?

Current pay : 8 LPA
Expected pay TCS : 11.5 LPA(still waiting for TR results)
Got Offer from infosys : 10.5 LPA (offer released)
