If anything impressed you made it to a t2 with those stats
It was a long shot but I had other good areas of my app (super strong UG extracurriculars, solid internships, etc) and case prepped like a mad man.

Get a 720+ gmat and build your story. You’ll be good

This provides no info for anyone to possibly make a reasonable determination
Sorry was still writing my comment below
Two promos at a company/practice that is an exit goal for most T7-15 schools & a 680+ gmat should be enough to ease adcom’s concern.
Yes. I think it’ll clear any concerns but it would be nice to have something that stood out. TBH, the best way to do that is to get a higher gmat, like a 740+ would be nice for any M7.
FWIW This was somewhat similar to a question from this event hosted by adcoms from Tuck, UM, Uva, Haas, columbia, and Kellogg. The adcoms’ answer were pretty much, “the better the gmat, the better the chances”.
I feel that your biggest problem is not GPA but you don’t have confidence in yourself..
Explain the gpa + part time jobs in optional essay, they understand not everyone is in the same circumstances

I think its great that everyone on this thread is being super encouraging but think a more realistic perspective is needed:
A lot will depend on your GMAT score - 750+ and you will have a reasonable shot at Tuck, Sloan, Booth. If you are in the 730-750 range you are going to have to execute really well on your apps + get great recs. Anything below 730 and below I think your odds at the schools on the top half of your list will be quite hard (especially given how competitive its gotten this year).
For LBS and IESE you could have decent change with a 720+ but then again you really do still need to find a way to differentiate yourself - from what you posted below I can't seem to find any angle. If you wanna do MBB, think about an industry or function of interest and back up that statement with your previous work experience (e.g., did a lot in Healthcare and want to move to MBB to specialize in healthcare).

For IESE, I think you have a realistic chance with 700+ with the right story. Maybe 680+if you already have substantial international experience. I just got accepted there with $ so happy to talk through your strategy for the app if helpful.
I feel like such a cliche. Tier 2 consultant with mediocre stats wanting to eventually get into MBB.
I like this way of framing it much better. I might be a cliche to society but to business school I’m aligned with what they offer :)
Other stats:
UG school: T50
Demo: While / Male
Work Experience: 4 years (will have two promos by then) in strategy consulting team of Big 4 firm
Reason for low GPA: overcommitted to extracurriculars and had two part-time jobs. Just burnt out. Course corrected and GPA was ~3.5 for the last 40 credits. Thinking of taking some quant UG courses at local college to build an alternative transcript.
EC: some sporadic volunteering and fundraising but nothing amazing.
GMAT: haven’t taken it yet.
Post-MBA goal: pretty vanilla - work in a different market/country. Potentially transition to MBB.
Target schools: Sloan, Booth, LBS, Tuck, and IESE
So to follow up on this post, I got into one of my targets and I’m waiting on a couple more
Seems it worked out for me :)
