In my view, yes. If there are fewer new restrictive regulations, and some of the existing ones are softened or repealed, that could have negative consequences. Also, this election upset may usher in a period of economic uncertainty, and clients may choose to tighten their purse strings in response to that uncertainty. Just my $.02.

ACA is a massive part of 1/5 of American economy. Even if repealed next Jan there will be years of huge consulting projects figuring out how to unwind it all

Just got laid off and I-94 is expiring on August 5th (based on my passport’s expiry date). I have a new passport and it looks like I’d have to file for Form I-539 to extend the I-94 and avoid being out of status. Can anyone confirm if this is the case? Any tips? Dealing with resourcing issues for one of our largest clients. We have enough hours, just waiting for more experienced team members to be hired to complete it.
