Already dreading work and waiting for the next weekend. Hate this remote project. Always worried about ratings/utilization/etc. probably not a good sign as a new (>6 month) hire.

How do referrals work?
If I get a referral from someone and I apply, then can I still reach out to a recruiter on LinkedIn expressing interest in the role? And do I let them know that I already applied? I’m sure they get tons of messages so what should I say so that it won’t be overlooked?Im currently unemployed and very eager to get an entry level position in either HR, Marketing, or Project/Program Coordinator in the tech field, so any advice is greatly appreciated.

I have been a PM at my company for 2 years now, with a years prior experience as associate PM. I got promoted before my certification, but was told if I did not get a PMP or ACP I would get my promotion taken away.
Received the ACP and have not seen a raise. Now we have a girl that is getting a 15k raise and going straight from Project coordinator to PM (with one year experience) and no certification. She will now be 5k less than me. If she gets CaPM she gets a 5k raise. Wong to feel slighted?

The thing I struggle with the most on a project is being able to quickly understand the business process of the clients across different industries. Any tips or resources I can use to improve that?

Please help!! Having an offer from Cts for 12 lpa(11.5 F) in Kolkata. Another offer from Credit Suisse Pune 13.6 Lpa F. I want to understand whether I will get a project as per my tech stack in CTS. I am in favour of CTS as it's in Kolkata(known place). My YOE - 3.6, Tech -Qlik, Sql. Any good recommended books on how to build a scalable product and team? I'm looking for recommendations for two areas: 1) in general laying the groundwork in a startup to have the tools and especially processes in place to scale, and 2) tactical focus on building a SaaS project. I've been promoted into a management role from Dev roots, so need to learn more PM processes to be an effective manager in day job, plus would like to start building my own SaaS solution.
