How much programming language is important for a QA Engineer..

Need your inputs, I have experience in Java Automation for past 2 years.. now my yet join company is using Ruby for Automation. Not a big deal in learning about ruby. Only worried about that if I continue here, in process of learning ruby I might have unlearn java. If I need to come out then openings on Automation with ruby in the market is pretty much less I think..

Hey fishes. I have been offered Management Consultant role with CTC break up in terms of JB, RB, fixed and variable. So is the fixed amount my gross salary without any other deduction except TDS, or will the organisation contribution to PF be also deducted from the fixed component? One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.
