That’s a terrible answer D1. I paid out of pocket with loans and so did my husband, and we’ve both benefited massively from the degree. It took us less than a decade to pay off our loans and significantly accelerated both our careers
If you have to pay for MBA 100% out of pocket, you should not be getting an MBA
If you're looking to make a career change a FT program may make more sense. The networking that comes with it is where you can open a lot of doors. This assumes you can take the time and are willing to take on the loans knowing they can be paid off. If you're doing PT with the goal to leave, you will be slammed keeping up, and might find that your exit ops aren't any different from just continuing to work and network without the added burden / expense of school.
PWC doesnt have any sort of part time tuition assistance?
DD1, more than likely “no” as that would require travel and I would like to stay local going forward

Op do you want to stay in consulting Post-MBA?
Op so the reason for MBA is to shift into industry? Any potential employers in Chicago you are interested in?
PwC1, I agree. But I don’t think I can financially afford to quit my job as I have family to support. Goal will be to switch careers potentially.
