Other considerations:
ACN matches 401k at 100% up to 6% of salary vs. PWC's 25% of 6%
ACN ESPP 15% discount is a solid investment that helped me buy my first house
Far more PTO for staff at ACN than PWC
Visibility into cutting edge tech across industries at ACN. And networking into those industries
Easier to move between business segments of ACN in case you hate the people you work with than at PWC
Your higher salary empowers you to take advantage of after tax retirement contributions to rollover into IRA via mega backdoor door
PWC partners/principals get paid more than ACN MDs on average
Same for the ESPP. You can only enroll during 2 windows of 1 month each per year. In Sep and May if I recall well. Not a big deal but worth knowing.

Hi! I did exactly this. Went from PwC at 102K to ACN at 165K. However, I recently came back to PwC after two years at 190K. I’m sharing this because you should always follow the money but never burn bridges especially if you liked your previous employer like I did. I always kept PwC open as a return option and it worked out for me. I would encourage you to approach this in a similar way.
@Accenture 9, I was an Associate Manager in CDO.
I’m confused by how Accenture is inferior to B4…?
Sounds like a no brainer.. pays more and what you want to be doing. Accenture ain’t that bad to find a good exit

What’s so great about the exit opps or experiences at PwC…? I think all B4 and Accenture are the same
It’s actually pretty hilarious how much people overthink exit opps. A rockstar from a noname is 100% more likely to land a role than a noname from a big brand name…

How is that a mistake? Accenture is a great company. You're not going to a no name boutique
So what if they were..?
Go!
What's stopping you? If i were to attempt to read between the lines, there is something about Accenture being inferior in some way(s) being implied (which sure could/may be true), but what exactly are you worried about losing in going to Accenture?
Are you asking us about a grammatical mistake?
I was in your shoes. Came from Deloitte (similar).
In the end, it felt worth it because : the door on the other side should not be closed if you do it well, professionally and respectfully. So get the experience and see if you like it.
Worst case? Back to PWC with more experience, new approaches (ie more value for them) and a better salary.
Why do you think it’s a mistake
Do it. Don’t overthink it
Accenture was the worst place I ever worked, also worked at pwc and mostly enjoyed it
OP — just keep in mind that everyone’s experience is very different, especially at massive firms like this with diverse cultures. I’ve heard people who jumped from PwC to Deloitte say it was the greatest decision they ever made and that PwC was horrific. I’ve heard others say it was a massive mistake and they had loved PwC but don’t fit as well at Deloitte — all depending on what teams/projects they worked with at either firm.
What’s the signing bonus?
The only way this is a mistake would be going from Strategy& to Accenture Strategy and even then I’d still jump for 45k
Thats just the Koolaid talking

How could this possibly be a mistake?!
What level are you? I’d suggest to think about your short to medium term priorities. But the salary bump is going to increase your earning trajectory curve. Just be prepared to stay there for ~3 years and rebuild your network and really get comfortable within your new team and environment. Best of luck!
Go for it!!
