What is an average salary of senior BA?
Hi all, recently in touch by Spotify recruiter for a Sec Engineer position for remote EU and was told that range was 60-80 out of base salary and equity. Had 2 years of security experience out of my 4 years. Was also told that there is no bonus scheme or no sign in bonus 😕 Not sure how I feel about this tbh.
What do you think?

I have a number of advanced certifications for Azure and AWS. It's never been a deciding factor for a job. The only time it had been been brought up by an employer is when they were looking to maintain their Microsoft partner status and they needed a certain number of certified people.
Hands on experience with common workflows is going to carry more weight than a specific cert.
Exactly. The common misconception about our industry/ career path is that you can certify your way to six figures without real world experience. But to answer the question, it depends on your market (location) and years of experience in desktop support. If you’ve never done server administration, don’t frown on an opportunity to make between $65k-80k. Hope this helps…
I currently do manage endpoint management/intune and created the hybrid environment. So some experience with azure. Just want the certs to back up the experience.
Your certs while wonderful, will only benefit your employer in the early stages of your career. Like others have mentioned they freeload your hard work to maintain their Silver/Gold/Platinum partnerships.
These certs will benefit you once you hit year 4+.
Hands on Time + Certs is a potent combination but hands on TIME is the most critical ingredient.
You maintain those certs and you have 5+yrs of hands on experience then it becomes a name your price kinda things.
