Hey, I have 4 YOE and currently a manager at PwC and have been managing teams for a little over a year now. My role mainly consists of leading teams of engineers deliver MVPs to our clients.
If I wanted to exit to Google or Facebook (Meta) what role would align for me? I was looking at engineering manager roles but unsure if that’s too senior for me.

Looks good. You got good number of RSU. Amazon stocks are going crazy high. Plus I heard nobody gets higher base than 200k not even the CEO. It’s all stocks! If you liked the job profile, I would say take it!
Highest base in Seattle is 160k
Was in a similar situation a few months back. Turned down a L6 offer at 275k total comp to stay, which is a slight raise than what I have now but heavier on the risk side. The jury is still out if that was the right move but I'm not regretting it
Wouldn’t do it. SM at ACN to Sr Product Manager at Amazon doesn’t seem like much of a step up ( I know Senior Consultants that went to Amazon as Sr Product Managers). Not much difference in terms of salary too. Perhaps try for Principal Product Manager. Otherwise I would stay and aim for MD at ACN.
Yes! I'm happy to help :)
Im surprised a senior manager at ACN has 200k total comp. Which group are you in, within ACN?
To me 200k seems really low (no offense) as a total comp number, especially for strat.
Yeah I'd be more inclined to tell you to pass. See if they can come up on base. Also, do you see yourself at Amazon for the next 4 years?
Big step down as others have said that’s what Amazon recruited for during BSchool so you’d be losing around 4-6yrs depending your acceleration, assuming ACN Strategy
