Hi Fishes, I've accepted offer from Accenture from their portal.. But now got new offer from EY and wants to join at EY. So how can I tell Accenture Accenture India that I'm not going to join them. Rather than not showing up on the date of joining? Can you please guide me? How do I let them know? My talent coach is not reachable

Which one do you believe in as a company? If you are going the employee route, why are you leaving your current firm and which one fills what was lacking at your current firm?
Forget the upfront, if you don’t solve why you are leaving your current firm now, you will be doing it again soon and that upfront money won’t matter.
I understand leaving in that situation, but how does changing firms solve that? You have that risk at any firm. If reputation of your firm means enough for you to change, there is tons of options. UBS, RBC, ML, JPM, just to name a few. All have good reputations.
Tech and back office support will be roughly the same anywhere at that level and that channel, so that shouldn’t be that big a factor.
If the check is the big issue, than shop the big check. Those two aren’t close to the best deal. Ask PRU to give you a quote, they have been digging deep to get ex wire house reps in the last few years.
Here in the Midwest that is a big difference
Is that Check based on your GDC or your actual net at your wire house? I ask because that’s a real BIG Check if it’s GDC. I’d take the 125% if on your GDC. I had no idea there where places still paying that much. Good for you!
MP that’s based on my GDC
I was shocked when they gave me the offer in writing (of course I didn’t show it) lol
Anybody reading this that works at AMP? What would you say the strengths are of the firm? Weaknesses?
Is Finet worth considering?
FINET would have been a serious consideration but what’s the point if it’s just another seat on the titanic?
With Finet you can rebrand w your own name or whatever name and no longer an employee. Less risk of the office fighting to keep your clients ????
I have a seat on the Titanic also and trying to decide what to do
It’s tough that’s for sure.
The check is a loan, what’s the payout ?
I almost took the check a few years ago until I found out that the payout was low at Amp
Payout at amp Is 40% provided financial plans are done etc.
Payout at RJF is slightly more without the requirement for fin plans, Insurance etc . So that’s a consideration as well
I guess the question is if RJF is really worth that much of a step down in upfront compared to AMP. Is AMP really that bad? Is RJF really that good?
Have you looked at some of the Hybrids in your area? Then tend to have around 60-70 payout and you are W2. You also have more say in tech and most are on the cutting edge of tech. Just an idea.
Forget the up front. If that is all your concentrating on and not what your practice needs you r selling out to the highest bidder. I could have had 2 to 4 times my initial upfront but I kicked the tires a long time before making the move. The upfront did not factor into it. I be learned the hard way....up front payouts that are bigger or out side the Norma....they are buying u....there is a reason....be careful....last thing your clients need is for u to be switching again
I would watch what you say. In fact we did not take any bail out. You can also do out side insurance. It's all in what you want from a company. For EVERY UP SIDE THERE'S A DOWN SIDE. No mater what firm you go with. The key is finding the one based on what you want. The only right answer is based on your clients and your needs.
I'm in the process of comparing LPL, Cambridge, RJ. Cambridge has best payout but program fees are the highest. LPL and Cambridge net about 85%, RJ about 80. Seriously considering RIA myself, but the upfront check is appealing!
I compared Cambridge LPL and Commonwealth. I went with Cambridge and couldn't be happier. Cambridge it depends on whether u go direct or through an osj and which one. If you would like to chat...give me a way to call u.
