Safest answers all the time are about culture and size . Going from PWC to Deloitte - you would say I love Deloitte culture that I heard from my friends and Deloitte is a larger company which makes me believe I will have more greater projects to work on . In reverse - going from Deloitte to pwc you say something like I would like a smaller firm with higher growth and focus and great culture .
These questions are all BS in general in my opinion but people ask them any way - so you just play the game and tell them what they want to hear
I said that I felt that Deloitte operates more like a true consultancy, citing the separation of Deloitte Consulting from Deloitte & Touche (tax, audit, advisory). Talk more about how the group you'd join at D is more aligned to your goals. While all of this was true for me to an extent, the 50% raise didn't hurt 😁
If they need you, they will take you no matter what answer you say to that question. It’s just a stupid question anyway. Just focus on proving your worth to them during interview, and showcase your skills. That’s all matter at the end of the day!
Just say ibm1 response as an answer and move on. Don’t worry too much.
