Analytics & Insights Manager from consulting trying to move to tech. Any takers?

Hello, I am in USI GES tax at DUSI. I love my job but not my team and mgmt anymore. I'm a performer and I'm dumped with work of 2 ppl while others are searching for work. I am burned out.

I resigned and accepted a job with EY GDS with a huge pay bump that DUSI can't match but I also gave up my potential promotion for 2023.

I've been feeling bad about putting my papers down and letting go off my promotion but I am really tired. I took up this job as an escape.

Did i do the right thing?

Hi All, I'm currently working as a Senior Systems Engineer at Infosys in Application support and maintenance(Infra team) role for Oracle - Argus Enterprise edition. My current CTC is 3.92 LPA. I am not happy with my career and financial growth after 2.5 YRS. Can someone please provide a refferal for better CTC in a similar role? I'm open to learning new technologies as well! Was accepted into a T15 program without a scholarship and currently waiting to hear back from a T20 where I feel I have a great shot. Only have 2 years of experience and no promotion, but I'm expecting a promotion in 2 months with our year end cycle. Do you think that promotion and/or a scholarship offer from the T20 would be enough negotiating leverage?

Career advice?

I'm a relatively junior data engineer (2yoe), the only other engineer (senior) that trained me left about a 6 months ago and I negotiated a nice raise for the extra responsibilities.

My performance reviews have been stellar, but my manager is starting to look to hire a senior to help me deliver projects as we do lack capacity right now.

I feel like I might be missing an opportunity to ask for a promotion and hire a junior instead.

Currently a Wealth Advisor for Citi but I honestly hate it here with a passion it’s the worst company I’ve ever worked for in my life and I’ve been in Wealth Management in the banking channel for over a decade. I got an offer at Nokia, and my new manager said that she wanted to put me in the higher salary bracket however the HR insisted that we lowered the range. That caused me to receive a much lower salary than expected. Should I renegotiate even when my manager said that she tried giving me more. Does HR really play that big of a role in this?
