Was accepted into a T15 program without a scholarship and currently waiting to hear back from a T20 where I feel I have a great shot. Only have 2 years of experience and no promotion, but I'm expecting a promotion in 2 months with our year end cycle. Do you think that promotion and/or a scholarship offer from the T20 would be enough negotiating leverage?

I was recently told that I wasn’t being promoted to AD. Now that I have quit, they are offering me an AD title if I stay. Why would they do that? I’m only good enough to be an AD now that I’m leaving?

is it worth it to shift to IB or MBB after 7 years in the big four(audit and fdd)? I do think IB and MBB are interesting fields that you can acquire unique skill sets and a good network. But I don’t think I couldn’t keep up already for a daily grind. The reason why I did not pursue it earlier in my career is that I am not from a target school and I do not have an MBA. lol thoughts?

What is the relationship between Title and Career Level in Oracle?
I see ssi folks having principal and sr principal title with IC3 band and idc folks with PM titles having IC4 band. It’s a bit confusing.

Due to a recent company-wide increase and additional pay for bilingual direct reports I am only making a dollar and change above them as their supervisor. I was hired into this position in March, having been the first employee in this department. I really tried to get them to budge on salary, they did not, but shortly after accepting they gave the whole company a dollar raise.

Are Tuck and Darden really much better for consulting than other schools? Yeah they have that rep but it seems they have more students recruit for MBB so overall success rate into these firms isn’t much higher than other schools.
