I have recently joined EY SaT group as senior consultant recently in Netherlands. I’m tripple masters in MS economics, MBA and MS business analytics. Have 4 YOE in different industries but no M&A experience specifically. Any ideas what company should be offering me? I’ll be working as expert on commercial due diligence, FDD and valuation teams and doing automation alongside. is it wise to demand higher salary or promotion soon after I have proven that I can work and do it better than most?EY

I went 6 to 7
Salary went up slightly but I was basically at the cap so at the time I was awarded an additional 100 RSU.
That basically delayed my cliff and increased my TC in years 4 and 5. I maintained my previous awards so this was additional and then your target band is adjusted up based on job family.
It was over 2 years. Promo came in year 3, shares vested in years 4 and 5.
That made year 4 the most lucrative year I had at Amazon because it built on my existing initial vest, and then in year 5 it was comparable with share appreciation and previous rsu vesting reload.
After year 5 my comp fell
I’m in legal but I’ve heard L6 to L7 can be pretty skimpy and if anything will only include RSUs that vest two years out. They also take into account where you’re at based on original RSUs and how much the value has gone up vs. projected.
Thanks for the insight A1. Levels.fyi shows a pretty big jump in tc for L6–>L7 sales roles. If that holds true, I’m wondering where the bump in tc comes from. If your only reward is RSUs that won't vest for 2 years --and a whole lot more responsibility-- that probably would be a bit of a let down!
