I have a weird background bc outside of agency stuff I’m also a New York Times bestselling author (lol). Writing / hard work / creativity is not a problem for me — I just need better WLB for health reasons. Open to leaving healthcare if needed. Thank you!

My DOJ at ey gds is 26th Oct. In the offer letter it was stated that i can work remotely until I'm asked to join the office. But within the offer letter itself they have provided info regarding reallocation reimbursement. So should i actually go to the office on 26th or can i work remotely until I'm asked to join the office.

Covid travel question - for Spain I had to fill out a "health control form" because I am connecting in Madrid to go to Italy. The form had me check a box if Spain isn't my final destination (which it's not) and now says TRANSIT across the top of my QR code. I am connecting to another airline so will need to go get my bags - will I have any trouble since I assume getting my bags is within Spain and after immigration

I became a 2 year lawyer in September. I started working at my firm, a mid-sized firm practicing commercial business litigation and PI, in March of 2020. Last year I made the firm $180k from my billable hours and I was paid $85k + full health and other benefits.

This year, I'm on track to make about $150k and to make the firm about $450k from my billable hours and PI cases that I originated and settled.

Trying to do right for my firm. I'm treated well.

I'm an SVP/strategist with 25 yrs exp., but only 3 years in healthcare. I'm being recruited for a GSVP "account leadership" role (i.e., not on the strategy team) for two big unbranded campaigns. It sounds great, they know my med/reg comms exp. is very light, and I think I can do the job, but: Is there a real future for me on the account side if, at GSVP level, I still haven't done much meg/reg? Would this be the end of the line for me, with limited mobility because my expertise is too narrow?

Doesn’t feel like a lot of the work I do actually helps patients or make anyone’s life better, which was the whole draw when I started 5+ years ago. Real question: how does a hospital system using a leading EHR not know where in the facility a patient is? Father brought in via ambulance at 215pm.....and when my mother called a few hours later for an update on his status they had no idea where he was. She played “transfer me to Dept X bingo” (ED, med/surg, OR, PACU), til she found a nurse who knew where he was. How does this happen?
