That is what I'm saying D3. I made no comment about race and never even considered it (myself being Chinese). It's not about race, it's about hiring standards you assuming fuck
D2, you know what you are saying. "It doesn't mean the people are any good". Really? And of course you are Chinese yourself, you low self esteem fuck
D3 - Deloitte China, not Chinese employees. Stop being a race baiting fuckwit - you're part of the problem.
Peanuts. 30-50% pay cut in my search so far (granted, this is Tech, but I don't think S&O would fare much better). Plus you'd most likely be better off leaving Deloitte/Big 4 as our Greater China presence is absolutely miserable
I've dealt with Deloitte China before - I don't recommend.
I'll second D1, they're a 3rd rate organization
And will work you to the bone, they don't even pretend to acknowledge the term "work-life balance" like we do
I thought Deloitte is the most prestigious big 4 in China
They might be - but that doesn't necessarily mean the people are any good
I've been told the Hong Kong and Shanghai offices do get a lot of expats.
So you are saying Deloitte Chinese employees are no good? It sounds low key racist.
Disclaimer: my experience is based on a 6 month project in which a led a team of 5 Deloitte China consultants and interacted with 25 others (huge project) ranging from the analyst level to partner
My comment was to in-fact show the prestige of those offices. You can take it to your level D3. But still what's the range of compensation?
D2 that's all very good ... I am looking for good global exposure.
Big 4 prestige in China is pretty shit, everyone only knows them for tax/audit. If you're doing tech Acc or maybe even IBM would have better cachet there because they don't have to deal with the perception of being an audit firm
HK used to have a partnership of some sort with the US firm but that ended a few years back so less cross-pollination now. HK, CN, SG have fragmented practices that don't seem to work together very much
Woaahh you're all big D's here relax
Exactly @D3 whenever we say anything about any other part of the world everyone starts calling us racists. D2 you need to hold on to your horses and stop assuming and let your fucking brain loose
D2 and D3 swap in my above comment please 😅
Yes!! Deloitte China office not Chinese employees!!
