Homegrown TC $140,000 - 180,000
At C within strat your band ends at 145k, in general only the extremely high performers get even close, the average is probably around 125k. This is post adjustment this year. I have superstar C mentees and none of them are above the 135k mark. The 180k for some reason was just hilarious to me. That’s not gonna happen, it’s past even MBB for lateral.
I’d say most roles at that experience are between $105-125k
Whoever this person is definitely does not have any idea what they’re talking about
A1 has it right. Base comp for a new C1 starts at 127.5 at the moment with bonuses ranging from 5-10%.
We literally just completely changed how our comp bands work so it’s unclear how progression will shape up

Thank you for the clarification. Could I DM you about your Accenture experience?
What you’re seeing OP is that AS changed how all of the bands work literally within the last couple weeks.
We used to have set bands for each level so a consultant would progress (base pay) 120 -> 130 -> 150 -> 160 if they didn’t get promoted to manager beforehand.
This year they changed the bands (C1 starts at 127.5 now) and the progression is where “merit” is supposed to be the sole driver of pay vs. set pay scales which is causing a lot of friction with “experienced consultants/managers” making similar pay to new consultants / managers. It may be a growing pain into a new system or it may be the new way things are. People don’t know yet
Happy to chat in DMs tho
