What is the tipping etiquette on the free platinum breakfast in a JW Marriott? The server just gets coffee / orange juice and you serve yourself. It is an overpriced buffet that I would never dine in.

Desi parents: what time do your kids go to sleep at night? We have a 23 mo and his bedtime schedule starts at 6:30 PM and he sleeps by 7 PM. This was suggested by our sleep consultant and has worked well for us, but recently we are getting a lot of hate for not bringing our toddler to evening dinners etc. We are being told that most kids sleep around 9 PM or being asked to put the toddler in one of the rooms. Every kid in my husbands family apparently doesn't sleep before 9 PM or later.

Currently 31 with 6.5 YOE and single . Should have NW of 250k by end of this year. (No significant assets in India). Considering this money all reminds invested I should have a decent nest egg for retirement. Have an LIC policy that will be worth arnd 50 lakhs when I surrender it (plan down payment for an apartment). Struggling to convince parents this should be enough for me to move back.
