Anything by Michae Lewis: write the Big Short, and Moneyball.
Shantaram.
I love Freakonomics.
Anything by Sam Kean- all stuff on the history of scientific discovery, and FASCINATING. Dead Wake is also excellent non-fiction.
So many of the Malcolm Gladwell ones. You maybe have already checked those out. Also I heard an NPR thing about this French scientist who studies the emotions of chimps, and he had a book that sounded amazing but forgot the title - you could find by googling.
In Pursuit of the Unknown: 17 Equations that Changed the World
The Signal and The Noise by Nate Silver
Biography/Memoir - Show Dog by Phil Knight (founder of Nike). It’s truly one of my favorite reads and the way he turned his passion for shoes into a reality is infectious!

Thinking Fast and Slow by Dan Kahneman. One of the best I’ve read. And Gene by Sidhartha Mukherjee
