Hi fishes,
I am planning a switch so was going through some salary data for a software engineer. My ex-senior manager recommended me a website: Growceed.com which helped me a lot in getting clarification about a lot of things but I am in doubt whether the average salaries of software engineer mentioned on Growceed.com really that much in top MNC companies.

I recently applied to the Content Designer, 2023 Graduate remote role at Atlassian and I'd appreciate it if I could get a referral.
Here are some details to aid in your decision-making:
- Last summer, I worked at Google as a UX Content Design Intern.
- I am currently in a grad program at
NYU and will graduate in Spring 2023.
- Before graduate school, I spent 3+ years as a Copywriter in Advertising.
I'd really appreciate any recommendation I can get at this time.

Every company does this differently, so depends.. If a job is reposted often, it might mean they’re not finding the right fit or just collecting resumes. Try applying directly on the company’s site and also reach out to someone there on LinkedIn. Sometimes that extra step gets you noticed faster.
Making connections on Linkedin really helped me. I focused on making real connections rather than applying.
I heard an interview with a recruiter who said some of those job sites just do an awful job of taking down old listings. So it could be that. Or, it could be a ghost job. Some companies will post jobs they don't intend to fill. It's usually done, from what I gather, to make it look like the company is doing well and hiring even if it isn't.
Yeah I am having a hard time gauging what's legit on there and what's not too. I've heard sometimes companies repost just to keep the listing fresh. But I’ve found it more helpful to check the company site directly and apply there like someone said above. Also, someone told me that setting up alerts with filters can sometimes help cut through the noise and save some time.
