Would highly recommend going over $250 - some great chairs out there will change your life

Any recommendations?

Bought a Laura Davidson Soho in Italian Leather when it went on sale. Definitely nice but more aesthetic than anything. I ended up wanting to swap for the tall back version, but they couldn’t offer the same sale/discount - so I requested a refund and planned on repurchasing when it went back on sale the following month. I went through return process, and in the end I lightly jabbed by mentioning they would have really lived up to their 100% satisfaction if they didn’t make me wait for the next sale.

Long story short, they provided me with a full refund and told me to just keep the chair.

While I agree with BCG 1 that you'd probably be better off treating an office chair as an investment, check out BTODtv's video on top 5 office chairs under $300.

(Yes, BTODtv is a channel devoted to office chairs LMAO. I've been binge watching because I'm really pissed off at getting an aeron because I don't believe in sitting straight all day, and it turns out that there are much more accommodating chairs for people who like to change positions throughout the day...)

Heyy does anyone have any tips for an entry level media planner? I graduated last year and landed a FT offer at an agency. I’ve been working from home for almost a month now and honestly it has its pros and cons. Not only is it harder getting to know your team, but there haven’t been much guidance from my manager and the lingo takes some time to get use to. I guess I just want to learn as much as possible and give off good impressions. Since everything is wfh I’ve been feeling anxious. Thanks!

I'm non US citizen and thinking of moving back to EU. My plan is getting remote opportunities across the world and work as a freelancer. My speciality is Data analytics and BI (Qlikview, Tableau). 1) How likely I can get a gig from the US? 2) if a job looking for a remote 2-3 months contract do they care what country I'm in? 3) how can I compete Indian rates as I'm in Europe 60-70$ per hour as a BI consultant is a good rate but I see online rates as low 10$😫?

Since summer started, working from home has been a blessing. I’m tanner than ever since I’m not stuck in the office until the sound goes down. And there’s something awesome about taking a conference call sitting out by the pool. It makes me feel way more important than I am.

So just throwing this out there. Can agencies give us WFH bonuses to cover the cost of setting up a home office? I had to invest quite a hefty sum for a desk, office chair and upgrade my wifi connection. Also, can we deduct our work space rent area for tax purposes? Every little bit helps!

Hi peeps. Need a suggestion , I am about to switch for a change and I have an offer from LTI for PM but my current location is noida. I have been offered in Bangalore but moving there is little tricky with growing kids and family. How long WFH is going to go and how is the growth ladder provided I take this opportunity and switch and wait for things to happen. It's about the time where everyone on my team requests feedback from each other and I'm nervous for it coming up. I never do this but I need some objective advice. My wife is 5mo pregnant and my sister is getting married. Wedding was adjusted because of COVID but she set the date knowing I might not be able to attend as I’d have to fly there. Now I’m conflicted because if I attend, I’d have to quarantine for 2 weeks away from my wife and miss a couple DR appts. I’m her only support where we live. Would be stressful for her but I’m getting immense pressure from my parents to attend the wedding. Advice?

I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.
