Have a final partner round case interview at OW in the Life Sciences team, Europe for the SC role. Haven't been able to practise casing due to intense projects. Anyone has any recommendations on what should I focus on as the interview is in a week. So far my conversations with the Partners have been about the fit and the OW vision in Europe and this will be the first case with them. I am super motivated to join the growing team, so dont want to .... up the final round. Oliver Wyman

Hey OP
1) Work culture: Second to none. The people at slalom are truly amazing.
2) Comp: Slalom underpays. I would say this is especially true given where the market is moving. Full disclosure, I’m on my way out the door because of this. If compensation is important, then I wouldn’t consider it.
3) Benefits: Pretty good. They’ve been adding a ton here lately.
4) Flexibility: Again, second to none. This can be a positive and a negative, but I would bargain to say I’d work a lot more in industry than I currently do at slalom.
I actually just accepted an offer that’s over market., strange enough. Really looking forward to the culture as that’s what drew me to Slalom.
Great company but you won’t get broad exposure. They primarily consult on negotiating winding paths, avoiding obstacles, and downhill velocity optimisation
I found that work culture, flexibility, and even to some degree compensation can vary between the markets and even the individual practices.
One of the selling points when I worked for Slalom was the local model, but with the pandemic most people were not traveling regardless. The quality of colleagues was generally good, and quality of leaders was a bit hit and miss. Many of the leaders come from Accenture so you've got some of that DNA there (good, bad, or indifferent).
Benefits are sub par and pay is average for most.
TA1 then soak it all in! This is strictly my experience.
Slalom has been nothing but great to me besides the compensation. Congrats and enjoy your future with the firm.
