I wear actual 4lb ankle weights throughout the day and then when I take them off for running I feel like the flash
You’re allowed to go outside.
They mean usual daily activities and moving around would keep you loose/reduce the tightness. Now working from home you’re not getting up to walk into meetings, get coffee, collaborate with someone , walk to and from their car, etc.
Definitely struggling. I have started to do a longer warm-up/stretch pre-run and that has helped a little bit
Need to double down on hip stretches. Also try to roll out/massage your IT Band if you have a foam roller or theragun
IT band massage with foam roller is a game changer
If you go for longer/more runs than usual: take an icebath for faster recovery
