Any suggestions (or books or articles) around taking startups from smaller (50-100) to the 300-500 range? Would love to read more about challenges that usually come up at this stage and how people navigate them. I just joined a series C and want to be prepared to navigate things.

Any good recommended books on how to build a scalable product and team? I'm looking for recommendations for two areas: 1) in general laying the groundwork in a startup to have the tools and especially processes in place to scale, and 2) tactical focus on building a SaaS project. I've been promoted into a management role from Dev roots, so need to learn more PM processes to be an effective manager in day job, plus would like to start building my own SaaS solution.

Book recommendations: Hi 🐠, can you all recommend a few books that can help me learn a little about the following topics?

- How to go about ideating a new line of service or product? (Understanding market needs and viability of the product, designing/scoping the product, etc)
- How to define a business case for funding an idea?
- How to launch a product and/or a startup?

Starting a Strategy role and would like to use the down time to prepare. Open to other books on strategy concepts as well :)

Hey guys. I'm opening a hedge fund that uses a first-principles approach to developing investment strategies. What I found is that really smart people who have built great companies put their excess savings into investment managers that have never managed a company before. Thus, they resort to "diversifying" to "minimize your downside risk" which in other words, means they don't know how to invest. The financial models they use to diversify have broken assumptions. Open to everyone's thoughts!

Considering leaving a startup for a new role. Next week my first batch of options reach their cliff. Last year around this time the new price was set (my strike price = current price).

Does it make sense to exercise the options even if I would likely have to sell within 90 days (assuming I take the new job)? Apart from the headache of buying and selling, and the possibility that the price doesn’t change, anything else I should consider? First time exercising stock options.
