AlixPartners can you please share about the TC and WLB for new parents?
I'm approached by the AP recruiter and in the final interview process for an SVP role (digital practice).
Already have two other offers (Strategy @ Walmart, 300K TC, and Marketing@ Amazon, 220K TC). 10 YOE
1. Will AP's SVP TC be higher than $300K? What's the breakdown?
2. Would you choose AP over Strategy @ Walmart or Marketing @ Amazon?
3. How difficult is it for new parents? I still want to spend time with my newborn.
Can anyone give an opinion about joining Cognizant Bangalore now ? I have 1.8 YoE and they are offering a pretty good hike but I have heard news like there's managerial changes happening rn and many people are leaving the firm. Your opiniors will greatly help me in making a career decision.
I need help with my interviewing skills

Sit down at the table. Order a beer AND a whisky. Scan the menu and proceed to order the most expensive item while staring hard at your new employer. Undo your tie. After the meal, unzip your pants. Order desert... for everyone. Then leave early and tell them you will see them on Monday.
wear a white shirt and order extra marinara on the pasta.
Yeah, what role is that for if it's dinner and the very first interview at the same time?? Also, order something "small" that you can easily and GRACEFULLY eat too with fork and knife. Don't go starving/too hungry. Don't order weird food that's sloppy to eat or huge romaine salad with lettuce falling off your plate or getting stuck in your teeth. Order ONE drink - a beer or glass of wine. Act "normal"/relaxed, but not too casual.
Don't order the soup.
in all seriousness, some interviews are more about fit - it's a two way interview. they won't ask to see your portfolio at dinner. they will see how you treat the bus boy. they'll gauge how well you'd interact with clients. google/linkedin search/agency bio search everyone you are going to meet with. come up with some potential conversation starters. be prepared for the softer questions at dinner. dinner interviews are about fit - especially in client facing or managerial type roles.

I would limit the booze and have fun. Treat it like a dinner with a new friend and if it doesn't feel that way then it might not be a good fit (unless you're not going to work with the person directly)
