Any tips for an interview with a hedge fund?

Economy is shrinking folks - just got my IBD interview cancelled due to hiring needs “changing”… I will continue to prepare and be ready for the next opportunity.

Was told I’d only have one round (4 interviews), each split 50/50 on case/behavioral. This is for an Associate position and will be interviewing with AP/P/SP level. Is this typical? Since I see most people have multiple rounds.

I just had a first round interview with BCG, I did ok in one of the interview and did great in the other one. What are my chances of moving to the next round? More info: Based in Canada, there are two 45 mins interview for first round.

When you talk in American accent with recruiters, do they still ask “if you need visa sponsorship”? Can any recruiter chime in please? Are they trained to tell if anyone is potentially “international” candidate, hence asking the question selectively at their discretion?

Was interviewing with a firm and soon after receiving an offer, learned of bad culture/toxic partners in the practice group from a couple of associates who recently lateraled from the firm. If the stress and surprise of just how difficult it apparently is to get pregnant wasn’t enough, the miscarriage put us over. Is now a good or bad time to move? I’m a financial analyst with 5 YOE (3 in manufacturing, 2 in Saas). I’ve been asking for promotion for almost a year now in my current company. Finally, my new manager and all the leaders on the team are supportive of my promotion. Work environment is great, friendly and multicultural but I don't like the job at all.
Personal life is not so nice since I manage to see my family and gf every 30/45 days only. Colleagues have their own lives and at the end we don't hang out much.
My dilemma is:
A) going back to Italy at a lower salary with less growth opps but better personal life or
B) Switching my job here and hold on
