Currently I work as a implementation consultant in a fast growing B2B SaaS company. We just recently received a funding round of 500M EUR, but I don’t have any stake in the company yet (only joined 5 months ago). I got an offer for EY-P but turns out the compensation is a bit lower than my current salary (~50kEUR). I’m really interested in strategy & PE cdd, but never done it before. So I have my bachelors in criminal justice and I just finished my paralegal certificate course today. My attorney should be making partner this year. With that being said I told her that I would complete my certificate by the summer around the time she would make partner. Interviewed with Chicago court 2 weeks ago; they decide mid-August. Interviewed with DC judge last week; hear from him by this Friday. Chicago said if I need an answer before August, they'd try to make a decision about me sooner.
Should I ask Chicago for an answer? Or should I wait until there's an offer from DC judge? Maybe seems better to withdraw before an offer is made rather than ask for time to think about it/turn down DC? What's proper etiquette?

Are ppl worried about being on the bench esp when there aren’t a lot of projects in the pipeline? New hire here about to be up for staffing for the first time and sentiment at my firm seems to be worried/fearful about being unstaffed.
