I used Wishi to do a styling session for this exact thing….! It was mainly classic bases with personality flares. Lots of oversized shirts with dark tailored jeans + loafers, heeled boots or ballet flats.

I generally do black cigarette pants, an oversized flowy 3/4 sleeve shirt thats biz casual, booties

Yes I struggle with this being a visitor to my teams offices and can say the tech culture continues to get more casual. I’d go nice trousers, cool platform sneakers or loafers, cute sweater / blouse. Add some layered necklaces and small gold earrings.

Check out these ladies on Instagram for some inspo:

LoverelyGray
LifewithJazz

I always wear nice suit pants with a cute top and a blazer usually. I always wear heels but its really not necessary. I say wear what you are comfortable in. Confidence does a lot for a persons outfit.

I would look at fashion trends in the areas around where you work

Looking for a remote/hybrid/onsite (Calgary,Alberta) job for my boyfriend who got almost 5 years of experience in proposal writing, RFP, RFI and bid management for a civil engineering firm. He also got an MBA, non drinker, non smoker, clean driving abstract and very polite. He gave out tons of cv in indeed job posters for the past 5 months, ends up becoming the filler candidate, took a huge toll in his mental health and we are going through some very rough patches. Can anyone please kindly help?

I just heard recently that if you refinance and your house appraises at 20% more than the amount owed, you can remove PMI. Is this correct? Getting a divorce and trying to keep the house but moving from a VA to a traditional loan and would rather not pay PMI if I don’t have to. House was purchased for $460k no money down (VA loan), refinanced at $450k to lower payments $400/month, now have $430k left on the loan... would it have to appraise for $516k?

I am seeing stellar returns and extremely low expense ratios but apparently since they're quantitatively managed algorithms, they don't account for things like corona for example.

Monday Morning rumination: unsolicited advise is criticism.

Much to reflect on with this topic. Last week I was told in a 1:1 with a new contact that I was “too direct”. After some time chewing on the conversation I was struggling to place the emotions I was feeling. Turns out I was feeling guilty and shame for being me, for taking up space. Lesson of the week: unsolicited advice is a criticism of you, a micro aggression of who you are, and being “too much”. What would you do??

I can't get this insane gun violence out of my mind & wait in dread for the next news alert.. Like many others, I'm afraid to go to the store, park, or drop my kids off at school. Always thinking - will this be the last time? It's unbearable to have any semblance of a normal life.

In many instances, social media posts are uncovered afterwards. With advances in TECH, esp. AI/ML, can't something be done to monitor online threats and alert authorities before it happens? Is that a crazy idea?!

I interviewed with a company last week and the interviewer said he would submit my notes to the hiring manager and I would hear back this Monday from HR on next steps/if they want to move forward. I didn’t hear back yesterday so I emailed HR and she said she wasn’t part of the hiring decision so would reach out to the initial interviewer for his feedback. I haven’t heard from her and it’s been 24 hours - starting to get worried. What should I do? Does this mean they’re not interested?
